Introducing Simon
Young male (boar) piggy, previous owner stated he was between 1 and 2 years (I would estimate he is no older than 1 year) Very chatty, a bit skittish and needs more handling, loves to be busy and loves the girls. I hope to get him neutured and paired up before he leaves here.
No previous medical problems, he had never been out on grass until he came here, he use to live in a hamster cage with a house that he couldn't get in. He has now moved from a large indoor cage to an outside hutch with the sounds and views of other piggies. He goes out on the grass and loves being in a
run next to other piggies.

Simon loves nothing better than a cardboard box lined with newspaper and hay!

Simon showing his lovely grey and white coat of hair.
Introducing Midnight
Little midnight I would estimate is only about 9 months old and was living with a rabbit, I have now seperated them and both are fine. They didn't arrive with any food, water bottles or food bowls but both have had no problem changing dried food to the brand I use. Midnight is jet black with a little tuft of brown hair and a lovely little abby piggie. She is very fast and loves hiding under the hay. She will need lots of gently handling in her new home as she has a lovely temperament but does tend to run when you go near her. Gently talking to her and a spinach leaf tempts her to come out of her hidey holes. Midnight would like to be homed with another gentle sow (female) or a neutured male.

Introducing Whiskey
Rescued by a lovely lady from one of our local garden centres, his mate was in a terrible condition with an ulcerated eye and the staff were not trained to deal with him. So she bought both piggies as they were together, unfortunately Whiskey really didn't like his cage mate so she contacted me and here he is. He is a pretty tri coloured abby piggie as you will see from his photo when I get around to putting it up!
He loves to be around other piggies, infact he made friends with 2 of my resident boars so I am going to try and get him paired up with one of the rescued boars so he has his own mate.

8 single boys
We have Laurel, Ziggy, Buggs, Mulligan, Colin, XP, Squeak and Beano. These boys were rescued from a home where there were approx 200 guinea pigs in the back garden.
Buggs is currently on hold for adoption as he is possibly totally blind so may stay here and be found a sighted friend.
Mulligan is a sweet abby in grey and white (I will have to look up the proper colour as he is fairly unusual!) he showed no sign of mites but was treated as all the others he came in with had had them. He loves his food and likes to get up on top of a shoe box so he can see the world.
Laurel is a very friendly coronet piggy, ginger with a tuft of white, he loves a nose rub and his food, he is a real squeeker and will let you know if he thinks you have forgotten him.
Beano is a little lost and scared soul, doesn't really enjoy cuddles at the moment, would prefer to be on the ground exploring, I think he has a worried look and I am not surprised as he had been very very badly attacked by the other males before coming here. He needs time and patience and he will become a lovely piggie. He is a black and dark brown short haired piggie.
Squeak is a white and black abby and a lively little soul. He is very fast to catch and loves getting up on things to look around! He will patiently wait his turn for the veggies and always chooses the romaine lettuce first.
Buggs is the one I think is either semi blind or totally blind, I have never seen him run, he walks slowly and does bump into things, If you are talking to him he will sometimes face the wrong way which is another sign. He now has learnt the layout of his cage and his outdoor run, he has a cardboard box which he jumps on top (its not too high) and he likes to sit under his plastic stool but mostly he puts his two paws on the food bowl waiting for it to be filled. He loves sniffing the other piggies through the wire so if he is totally blind he will stay here, be neutured and then found a girl friend or possibly a baby male friend.

Ziggy is possibly the brother of Squeak but they dont live with each other. He too loves his food, Very gentle but scared piggy, he is now the ideal weight and has recovered from scurvy that he came in with (lack of getting vit C from fresh veggies) He has an enlarged breast bone which the vet says is ok but feels a bit funny when your cuddling him. He is ready for adoption.
Colin, colin colin, this chap has come on leaps and bounds, from hiding in his box to now coming out and allowing a quick nose rub before food. He has an attitude and will gently chew on fingers if he doesn't get his own way. He will need more gentle handling and then to be paired up. He is a proper little character. Ginger semi longhaired (he has been cross bred!).
XP is a short haired brown and white fast pig. The most scared piggie and sooooooo fast!!!! he is very inquisitive and will now take food from your hand, this is a BIG step forward!
Boris the Boar
Boris is approx 1 year old and is a brown teddy, well he is a guinea pig but dark brown colour. Very scared at the moment and his hutch has had to be moved to ground floor level as he is so freaked out when I open the door. He is now in C&C playpen next to 'J' whom I am trying to bond him with.
He arrived with 4 girls and with no name.

The Spice Girls
Ok so perhaps not THE spice girls, we have Coco who is a teddy, Poppy who is a short haired piggie (liver and white colour) and Snowflake who is a big Himilayan.
