We will be adding various photos of different housing for guinea pigs

Minimum housing for 3 guinea pigs

Guinea pig(s) housing requirements
A pair of guinea pigs need a minimum of 4ft x 2ft (8sq foot). My ideal housing would be an indoor cage for the winter months and a summer hutch with a run.
I am happy to house to outside hutches with adequate cover. Hutches in a shed with window is another good idea of accommodation.
Rabbit housing requirements
I would love to see all the rabbits rehomed to accommodation of a shed with a large run attached. This I feel is a lovely set up, the buns love them and they have somewhere to go when it rains or is too cold.
Failing that then the minimum for 2 buns is a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch with a run attached or with a run for the day time.
I am not keen on the use of woodshavings and prefer megazorb or hemp based material like aubiose. I would love to see the buns with cardboard boxes to play in, possible wicker baskets, wooden houses or small hutches with the fronts taken off for them to sit in.
Here at the rescue I have different set ups which I will show you if you need ideas.
I am not a fan of these 'treats' the pet shops sell for bunnies, best treat for a rabbit is a box or cardboard tube filled with hay and some veggies or readi grass.
